A number of canoe and boat trips are planned for the Summer, as well as a basic paddling course. Here are the details:

Father’s Day Weekend Canoe Trip
Sat./Sun. June 15/16 (10 am-1 pm each day)
Dad canoes for free on both days! Bring your lunch and join a naturalist to explore the marshes and wildlife of Dundee Creek. Ages 8 and older. $7 per person, $5 for members. Space is limited; Registration required.

Estuary Exploration Canoe Trip
Sun. July 7 (1-3 pm)
Paddle to Gunpowder State Park to net for the residents of Dundee Creek and learn which animals spend the Summer here. Ages 8 and older. $7 per person, $5 for members. Space is limited; registration required.

Gunpowder Boat Trip
Sun. July 21 (10-11:30 am)
Join us on this trip to explore the Gunpowder River. Ages 8 and older. $10 per person, $8 for members. Space is limited.

Basic Paddling Course
Sun. July 28 (1-3 pm)
Learn the basic strokes needed to master a canoe. Ages 8 and older. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. $7 per person, $5 for members. Space is limited; registration required.

The Full Sturgeon Moon Canoe Trip
Fri. August 16 (7-9 pm)
This large fish was once a hazard and a delicacy. Find out why on this trip. Ages 8 and older. $7 per person, $5 for members. Space is limited; registration required.

Crabby Canoe Trip
Sat. August 24 (2-4 pm)
Male blue crabs travel to the Northern Bay. Join a naturalist as we check our trap-line to unveil their secret lives. Ages 8 and older. $7 per person, $5 for members. Space is limited; registration required.
