The Marshy Point Nature Center Council hosts a monthly guest lecture series featuring natural resource professionals, educators, photographers, authors, and noted naturalists.

The Speaker Series is held in the Nature Center auditorium. The talks typically last an hour and a half, with light refreshments provided. These programs are free and open to the public.

Please join us for:

  • October: Amy Young, “Clear Creeks Project: Our Water, Our Heritage, Our Pride” (Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019)
  • November: Kate McClure, “Sea Level Rise in the Chesapeake Bay” (Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019)

Anyone interested in presenting as a speaker in the Fall should contact the Nature Center.
