The Marshy Point Nature Center Council depends on financial help from its members, partners, business sponsors, and the community to fund programs, exhibits, facility improvements, and a variety of other activities at Marshy Point. Recent projects include building an osprey platform, boat lift, and the ‘Reefs of the Chesapeake’ exhibit.
(A special THANK YOU to the local businesses and community groups who have donated to support Marshy Point’s 2015 events—including the Popsicle Plunge, Spring Festival, and Fall Festival—and our summer camps!) Want to be a sponsor? The more the merrier!)
The Council needs your help to keep Marshy Point going as a great place for nature lovers, families, and the whole community. Please donate now to support our:
- Animal ambassadors (and their food/medical care)
- Trails and outlook points
- Pre-K nature drop-ins
- Spring and Fall Fests
- Summer camps
- Speaker series
- Community events
- Canoe trips
- New and ongoing exhibits
…and much more!
