Nature Pre-K Instructor

The Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks is seeking a Nature Pre-K Instructor to provide environmental interpretive programming for children ages 3 to 5 at Marshy Point Nature Center.

Do you enjoy nature and teaching? Do you love to be in the outdoors? Then this is the job for you! Applicants must have or be pursuing a degree in environmental science, biology, history, education, or related fields. Work outside!

Weekend/Part-time Naturalist

Marshy Point is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Weekend/Part-time Naturalist to help staff the nature center on weekends and during programs. Weekend Naturalists are responsible for nature center operations and programs under the general supervision of full-time staff.

A successful applicant:

  • Has or is pursuing a degree in biology, environmental science, wildlife management, education, parks, or a related field
  • Has experience presenting original interpretive programming, caring for native wildlife, and supervising volunteers
  • Is willing to work flexible hours
  • Works well with others
