Seasonal Naturalist

Marshy Point is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Seasonal Naturalist to help lead Marshy Point Summer Camps. Seasonal Naturalists attend training during the first week of June and work through Labor Day weekend.

A successful applicant:

  • Has or is pursuing a degree in biology, environmental science, wildlife management, education, parks, or a related field
  • Has experience presenting original interpretive programming, caring for native wildlife, and supervising volunteers
  • Works well with others

Weekend Naturalist

Marshy Point is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Weekend Naturalist to help staff the nature center on weekends and during programs. Weekend Naturalists are responsible for nature center operations and programs under the general supervision of full-time staff.

A successful applicant:

  • Has or is pursuing a degree in biology, environmental science, wildlife management, education, parks, or a related field
  • Has experience presenting original interpretive programming, caring for native wildlife, and supervising volunteers
  • Is willing to work flexible hours
  • Works well with others
